FAQ
Yes, Zea's default license is the one you will find with our publicly distributed client-side libraries on NPM. For clarity, they are the same terms we post on our website since our docs and showcase content will direct you towards our engine.
The Evaluation license supersedes the EULA and the commercial license supersedes everything else.
There are two options, namely self-serve and tailored.
For self-serve resources, you'll find our docs, open-source showcase content, and service-tickets.
If you have an internal or non-commercial license (basically anything more than the EULA), we offer tailored training options to fast-track your development. We'll work with your dev team or third party integrators to ensure your project is a success.
You'll need to notify Zea. Refer to your agreement or contact us.
You'll also need to start tracking your revenue for the product. Zea Engine is a royalty-bearing product and you'll have to report quarterly revenue and make a quarterly royalty payment.
Yes, we license our engine to you but we don't own any of your content. Even if you cancel your license subscription, you'll own your content forever.
Infinity. We don't use a per-seat model.
Yes. If you've already launched a commercial application and are generating revenue, please contact us.
If you're using the license for internal projects, just notify us and stop using the engine.
In either case, you'll be able to maintain released versions of your applications by using our publicly distributed client-side code. However, you won't be able to use the server-side code to create new assets.
